Event Rules & Dog Behaviour Policy

By registering for The International K9 Show, all attendees bringing dogs must agree to abide by the following Event Rules & Dog Behaviour Policy to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants

1. General Entry Rules

All dogs must be registered to attend the event.
Entry will be granted only to dogs with valid vaccination records (including rabies, distemper, and parvovirus).
Owners must provide proof of updated vaccination certificates during registration.

2.Dog Behaviour & Safety

Dogs must be well-socialised and non-aggressive towards other dogs and attendees.
Any dog showing signs of aggression, excessive barking, or disruptive behaviour may be asked to leave the event.
All dogs must be on a leash (maximum 1.5m) at all times unless participating in an off-leash activity.
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Waste disposal bins will be provided throughout the venue.

3. Responsible Ownership

Each owner is fully responsible for their dog’s behaviour and must ensure their pet does not cause harm or discomfort to others.
Any incidents involving dog fights, injuries, or property damage must be reported immediately to event staff.
Dogs in heat (estrus cycle) are not permitted at the event.

4. Restricted Breeds & Special Requirements

Some dog breeds may have additional requirements per UAE regulations. Owners must check and comply with Dubai Municipality pet laws.

Muzzles may be required for certain breeds, at the discretion of event organisers.

5. Health & Well-Being

Dogs that appear sick, injured, or distressed will not be allowed entry.
Ensure your dog is hydrated and comfortable, especially in outdoor areas. Water stations will be available.

6. Liability & Consent

The International K9 Show organisers, sponsors, and venue staff are not responsible for any incidents, injuries, or damages caused by dogs or their owners.
By registering, attendees confirm they have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Event Rules & Dog Behaviour Policy.
